Our Art Collection Management Services include creating fully catalogued, photographic databases of art collections for insurance and inventory purposes. We also offer conservation and restoration management, as well as the curation and organization of exhibitions, loans to museums, or any other special projects. Experienced advisors meticulously document and verify condition, price information, provenance, exhibition history, bibliography, location, and other pertinent data. We provide clients with insight into the quality and significance of each existing or prospective piece of art.
Trusts, Estates & Appraisals
Miller Gaffney Art Advisory provides certified appraisals for the purpose of: estate and gift taxation, charitable donation, insurance coverage, damage and loss claims, as well as equitable distribution that are in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the Internal Revenue Service. We recommend that appraisals be re-evaluated every two to five years. We also provide a Professional Opinion of Value (POV) to those who do not require a certified appraisal.
